Rice-A-Roni.  That’s it.  

(Hey, I write and gave up cooking a long time ago.)

Fortunately, my husband is the better cook. For the first six months we were married, my husband did all the cooking.  I don’t know if he was afraid I’d poison him or doing something else ghastly, but when he boiled an onion and put Velveeta cheese on it, that’s when I took over.  Of course, he’s a native Texan and eats all sorts of weird stuff.

He still does the baking and makes the best apple pie.  Of course, there was that time at my parents’ house when the oven died after he made his apple pie. We all agreed it was worth the sacrifice.
