Questions
Why do you write murder?
I often ask myself that…and
the answer is that is the only plots that occur to me. I simply can’t write a story with just a boy
and girl falling in love. I admire
writers who can.
It’s always worried me that I always have a dead body in
my books…but I finally decided to go with the flow and do murder.
What’s the best way to get started
writing?
Join your local RWA (Romance
Writers of America) chapter. Go to the
national site and find the chapter closest to you. www.rwanational.com/
Do you like critique groups?
I do like them. You get immediate feedback on your
writing. You also get people who know
your work and can help you with plotting points, motivation, and other aspects
of writing. But critic groups aren’t
for everyone. If it isn’t a positive
experience for you, don’t continue.
