Tony "Ash" Ashcroft's bacon is cooked when he is assigned to work with his ex-wife, Assistant District Attorney Kelly Whalen. Neither Kelly nor Ash want to work together, but Kelly is desperate. A killer she sent to prison five years ago has been released due to his overturned conviction. Kelly needs to find new evidence to put him away.
